Tour Program: Cappadocia Classic (2 Days)

Day 1:

Departure from the hotel and meeting with the guide in the Manavgat region.
Breakfast break in the Lycian Taurus Mountains, at an altitude of 1825 m (included).
Pass through the provinces of Konya, Aksaray, and Nevşehir.
Visit the caravanserai in the ancient Christian city of Saratly.
Photo opportunity with a view of the volcanic mountain Khasan, 3268 m high.
Explore the ancient underground city, Kaya (Kaya Şehir) in Cappadocia.
Visit the ancient Byzantine Fortress from the 13th century.
Visit Hagios Georgios, the Only Church.
Explore the Mosque of Ibrahim Pasha.
Visit the Ancient Roman City (Çam Kulesi) and the Church of the Virgin Mary, Roman Hamam.
Lunch at the ancient city of Ortahisar, overlooking the volcanic mountains of Erciyes. Food options include Testi kebab or smorgasbord at the restaurant named Khan in Avanos (drinks and lunch not included).
Visit the Ortahisar Ancient City (Middle Fortress) and enjoy the Lavender panorama.
Observe Derwent Valley from a high vantage point.
Take a walk through the Valley of Fantasy for photo opportunities.
Visit the Hitit Pottery Workshop.
Explore the city of rocks, Chavushin, and visit the Church of St. John the Baptist.
Stop for panoramic views in the Valley of Love.
Visit the Goreme Ancient City and Hidden Garden.
Optional: Experience the sunset at Red Valley National Park (not included).
Check-in at the hotel.

Day 2:

Optional: Ride on a hot air balloon (extra payment, to be paid on the day of the ride).
Witness the sunrise in Cappadocia with a view of the hot air balloons (not included).
Optional: Photo session in a jeep with a view of the balloons (not included).
Breakfast at the hotel (buffet, drinks included).
Stop at the longest river “Red River” (duck feeding available).
Visit the center of the stones of Anatolia “Sayan.”
Visit the highest point in Cappadocia, the third fortress, at a height of 1300 m.
Panoramic stop at Pigeon Valley.
Enjoy a fashion show.
Lunch in Konya (fixed menu of the national food of the city of Konya, drinks at an extra charge, not included).
Return to hotels.

About Hot Air Balloon Ride in Cappadocia:

Cappadocia is a semi-arid region in central Turkey, that is known for its distinctive fairy chimneys – a group of tall, cone-shaped rock formations in Monks Valley, Göreme. Take the hot air balloon ride in Cappadocia during the early morning hours to witness a beautiful sunrise view along the city horizon. Bring your friends along and feel accomplished as you receive the certificate of flight attendance at the end.

!NOTICE!

• Young children under 3 will sit on their parent’s lap, as they do not have their own place to sit. If you want your child to have his or her own room, you have to book that in advance.
• In case of bad weather, hot air balloon flights may be canceled.
• Children under the age of 6 are not allowed on flights.

Important to remember:

• Children between the ages of 0 and 3 years old are free without occupying a seat.
• Children between the ages of 4 and 7 40$
• Clothing and shoes that are comfortable, headgear, sunglasses, sunscreen, a warm blouse/jacket, especially for Turkish Night performance and balloon flights. Cappadocia mornings and evenings can be cold no matter the season.
• Don’t forget to bring a video/camera and money to pay for additional services.
• Children will be asked to present their valid passports at the entrance of the museums in order to validate their age.
• This tour is not suitable for guests with walking difficulties.
• Carry a passport or a photocopy of your passport.
• Return time depends on traffic conditions in cities.

For all tour bookings made in advance, we require that you cancel at least 24 hours before your scheduled tour departure time. This gives us the opportunity to fill your seat if you’re unable to participate. If you choose to cancel before the 24-hour deadline, we can offer a full refund or a voucher of equal value. If you do not cancel prior to the 24-hour deadline, you will not receive a refund or voucher*. All refunds must be collected in person, with original receipt as proof of purchase.

*We understand that unexpected changes can occur due to weather conditions. If your tour is canceled by the operator due to weather or other, unforeseen events, you will receive a full refund or a tour voucher of equal value for a future experience with us.
